This video is a nice relaxing Jeep ride from the Mackinaw Bridge to Drummond Island’s Marblehead steps. This trip started June 3, 2022 with a beautiful weather. The trip is narrated with some added music.
On this day when we arrived at DeTour that is the location of the ferry boat to Drummond Island, there was a long line extending out beyond the city limits. After about 2-3 hours of waiting, it was out turn to cross. The wind was significant resulting in north to south very large waves. The ferry boat captain and crew were stellar and did a marvelous job! After our arrival to the island, we had dinner, checked into our hotel, and then drove the Jeep on the trails and to Marblehead. Sit back and enjoy!
Trip Summary: Total Time = 4 hours 39 minutes. Moving Time = 2 hours 18 minutes. Distance = 30.1 miles.
