Bigfoot in Kalkaska – ATV Riding the Kalkaska South Loop – North Loop Junction to the M-72 Trailhead

This video is ATV riding the 31 mile Kalkaska South Loop off of M-72. It was a beautiful dry day with no rain and mild temperatures. This portion of the loop from the North Loop Junction to the M-72 Trailhead counterclockwise was 7 miles. I was driving my 2018 Polaris Sportsman 570 EPS.

About halfway into this section of the ride, a pungent smell for a 1/4 mile or more was present. It could have been a black bear or some other popular animal. However, some people associate this smell as described with the theoretical bigfoot. Since West Branch is the Bigfoot capital of Michigan, I thought it was worth mentioning. Perhaps West Branch self proclaimed title is more celebratory/tourist related vs actual sightings, I do not know.

This video is the fourth and final part in a series showing the entire loop. This trail is mostly sand with several elevation changes.
