I am excited to get back out in nature to take advantage of Michigan’s offerings. Last fall, activities were cut short due to COVID and a brief hospital stay. As winter approached, my mother passed away. It has been a long winter and with spring here, I am anxious to get outdoors in 2022!
We have several trips in planning stage. There are a fair amount of ATV rides coming up. We are planning to take another crack at completing the hike for the Michigan Shore-to-Shore Trail. Paddling in the summer of several Michigan rivers in the lower peninsula. Some of the places we will be visiting are:
April ATV trips to Altona Lake, St. Helen, Bull Gap, and Alcona Trails
May or June paddling of the White River from Hespiria to White Lake
June ATV trip to Drummond Island in the upper peninsula of Michigan and the Black Lake area in the lower peninsula
July paddling the Jordan River near Jordan, MI and the Sturgeon River ending at Burt Lake
Backpacking the Manistee River Trail
An August ATV overland
A Fall ATV or paddling trip
Stay tuned for YouTube videos and blog postings as 2022 marches along. I am looking forward to the trips and engaging with all of you.
