This video is ATV riding the Alcona ORV Trail West in northeastern Michigan’s lower peninsula. On this cloudy and rainy April day, we drove around 10 miles on this portion of the trail. This trail is mostly dirt forestry roads that are comfortably wide enough for any level of rider. This section of the trail holds a crossing of the Au Sable River and with a short detour, a view of Alcona Dam Pond. For whatever reasons, this trail is designated as 50″ or less ORV’s, but is plenty wide enough for full size vehicles.
