Brynleigh is a nine year old Irish Setter. She was rescued from an animal shelter in Spokane, WA. She enjoyed a United Airlines flight to Chicago and then a car ride to Michigan. Brynleigh does not like the water, but loves to run and chase squirrels, rabbits, and deer. This can sometimes be a problem when doing outdoor activities. I tend to rely more on my other dog Pixie when it comes to Paddling, backpacking, and riding the ATV.
Pixie is a eight year old Golden Retriever. She is in a way a rescue from the Chicago area. She was with a young lady that had some life challenges and wanted to find a good home for her dog. Pixie loves the water and is my faithful paddling partner. Pixie is full of mischief, but I can always count on her to be by my side through the wildest of country.
Both of these dogs are opposite in personality, but are the best of friends and an honor to have in our family.
